Rescue # 2  2002 Kenworth - Pierce Heavy Rescue

Rescue #2 is a 2002 Pierce heavy rescue on a Kenworth cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins 330 hp diesel engine with an automatic transmission. This truck was purchased new to replace old rescue #2 which was getting a little long in the tooth. This apparatus carries several hydraulic rescue tools, saws, air chisels, air bags, cribbing, high-angle rope rescue equipment, breathing air cylinders and a scba refill station. It is a fully-equipped rescue truck. It also has a 25-foot telescoping light, 200-foot air lines, 200-foot electrical lines and has a PTO powered generator.  This truck runs on all auto extrication calls and is second due on all structure fires.
