1982 Ford- Pierce 2500 gallon tanker - pumper

This unit is a 1982 Ford - Pierce tanker - pumper. It is equipped with a 1000-gpm single stage pump, has a 2500-gallon tank, a folding tank, portable pump, 1000-feet of 4-inch hose , 1 and 3/4 attack lines, and most engine company tools. It can dump its entire load of 2500 gallons in 56 seconds. This truck is designed to stand alone as an engine company or can tanker shuttle water if needed. It responds with all units in the city when cold weather strikes, runs as a tanker on township calls, responds on all hazmat incidents, and can relay pump with 5-inch hose. A very versatile unit. Powered by a 330-hp Detroit diesel engine with Allison automatic transmission.
